We exist to love God, our neighbors, and the nations by making disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our Story
Northside Fellowship covenanted together as a new local church in February 2021. As a church plant of Northland Church KC, the founding members of Northside had a vision to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the Northland of KC, serving in Jesus’s name and sharing the news that sinners can be forgiven and redeemed through the blood of Christ. Since 2021, the Lord has been faithful to bring about our vision of a church committed to God’s glory, God’s Word, and God’s mission in the Northland of KC and among the nations of the world.
Our Values
Northside’s mission and ministries are guided by three core values:
- God’s glory is our motive.
- God’s Gospel is our message.
- God gifts us all for ministry.
God’s glory is our motive. The sovereign God is our greatest satisfaction, so we live for Him and listen to His Word.
God gifts us all for ministry. The Spirit equips us all differently, so every member serves with strategic simplicity, gracious honesty, and generous hospitality.
God’s Gospel is our message. The sacrificial reign of Jesus is the climax of Scripture, the only way to salvation, the only power for spiritual growth, and the only hope for the world.
Our Culture
Northside is a neighborhood-focused church nestled in the 64117 ZIP code of the Kansas City Northland. Our mission is to love God, our neighbors, and the nations by making disciples of Jesus Christ. We strive to maintain a simple church culture focused on connecting people to the Word of God and to one another by the Holy Spirit. Because God’s Word is the authoritative guide for all of our lives and because Jesus’s Great Commission for His people is to “make disciples” until He comes (Matthew 28:19), we strive to connect everything we do as a church family directly to the teaching of Scripture and the spiritual growth of our people.
