Worship Service | Sundays, 10:30 AM
Our worship services are centered around being instructed in God’s Word and responding to that Word in an intentional structure (liturgy) of song, corporate Scripture readings, prayer, preaching, and communion.
Equip Classes | Sundays, 9:00 AM
We dedicate one hour each week before our worship service to teaching, training, and discipleship in a classroom format. Weekly Equip classes include classes for adults, youth (10 through 17 years old), and kids (“walkers” through 9 years old).
Small Groups | Weeknights
We know from Scripture and experience that engaging with a smaller group of believers for weekly study, confession, and prayer is one way the Lord delights to grow His people. We are committed to cultivating a culture of strong and welcoming small groups where all can be truly known and truly loved in the Gospel. Groups meet weekly in homes throughout the KC Northland on various nights of the week.

What should I expect on Sundays?
Each week, we gather as a church to be transformed together by God’s Word so that we will look more and more like Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. We will sing songs that teach us and remind us of truths from God’s Word. We will read God’s Word aloud. We will hear a sermon explaining a passage of God’s Word. And we will see the story of the Scripture on display by taking the Lord’s Supper together and celebrating baptisms. Our services follow a set pattern (liturgy) each week: (1) We Adore God for who He is, (2) we Confess our sins and needs to Him, (3) we come to Him with Thanksgiving for His grace, and (4) we come to Him with prayers to Supply all that we need.
What should I wear?
You’ll find people at Northside in all sorts of outfits, from very casual to semi-formal. Come worship in whatever you find most comfortable!
Is there something for my kids?
During our 9:00 AM Equipping Time, there are classes for toddlers through high schoolers.
During our 10:30AM Worship Service, there is childcare available for smaller children, ages newborn through PreK.
We read age-appropriate Bible stories, sing, play, and have snacks. When you trust us with your little ones, we take their security seriously. We create an environment where they can safely learn about God and grow in a relationship with Him. We do this by securing the entire building (especially the kids’ areas), by background checking and training all our kids’ volunteers, and more.
